In an interview on NotiUno in the morning, the director of the FBI in Puerto Rico, Douglas Leff, did not deny that they are investigating the expressions of the outgoing revitalization coordinator, Noel Zamot, who revealed that government officials hindered the program of critical projects that he should have implemented the Fiscal Oversight Board.

“There is a difference between a formal investigation and an analysis. It is quite possible that we have opened an analysis but we cannot confirm or deny because it is our policy not to comment and make formal statements in any case.”

“As always, we have to recognize that there are many types of fraud levels, some that are not federal crimes and others that are more complex,” said the Special Agent in Charge of the FBI in Puerto Rico, Douglas Leff for NotiUno 630.
